Overview
This article explains how Education Provider and Sponsor Admins can submit skills observations on behalf of learners, ensuring that progress is accurately captured and evaluated. Admins can create and submit observations for learners they have permission to manage, with submission and approval streamlined into a single step. Observations can be edited or updated as needed, with changes triggering re-evaluation, and a full history is maintained to provide visibility into who submitted and approved each entry.

Navigating to a Learner’s Program
Step 1: From your program’s overview page, tab over to Assigned Learners.
Step 2: Locate the learner you wish to perform a skills observation for and click the three dots to the right of their name.
Step 3: Then, select View Program.
Submitting a Skills Observation
Step 1: To submit a skill observation, scroll to the Skills Observation Tracking section and select the skill you’d like to review.
Step 2: Click Review New Attempt, choose the date the learner performed the skill, and enter the appropriate score. You may also add a comment if needed.
Step 3: When finished, click Review & Score.
Please note that skill observations can be backdated up to the learner’s program start date.
