Overview
Craft's OJL Tracker makes it easy for learners to submit activities and engage with their evaluator or instructor. In some cases, however, waiting for a formal submission may not be necessary—such as when an evaluator has already observed the learner completing the activity in real time.
To support these scenarios, users with evaluation permissions (Sponsor Admins, Admins, Instructors, and Evaluators) can directly assess learner performance, provide feedback (including comments, attachments, and scores), and approve the activity without requiring a submission. See below for more details.

Submit an Activity for a Learner
First, you need to find the learner and the activity you would like to submit and evaluate.
Step 1: From your Program page, click on Assigned Learners, then click the three dots next to the learner who you wish to evaluate.
Step 2: Click View Program.
Step 3: Find the activity you want to submit on behalf of the learner and click Evaluate Before Submission.
Please note, if you have enabled any activity requirements for the learner the Evaluate Before Submission button will appear greyed out until the learner fulfills those requirements.
Once you have selected Evaluate Before Submission, the status of the activity will change to Submitted and you will be able to submit your evaluation. Please note, a status of Submitted indicates that the learner (or yourself) has submitted the activity and it is pending review. You will need to submit your evaluation and click Approve or Return for the activity to be considered evaluated.
You will have the ability to submit proof of learning as an attachment, either as a document or link, leave comments for the learner. If a rubric is attached, you can also provide a score.
If their submission needs improvement, you can click Return and the learner will be able to give it another try. If you select Approve, it means the learner's work is complete and meets program standards.
