What Are Target Ratings?
Target ratings help you understand what great performance looks like on your assignments. When your admins set these up, they mark specific rating levels on the rubric to show you what you should aim for. These targets give you a clear sense of the expectations for each part of your work—and they’re visible to you and your evaluator.
If your activity has a target rating assigned, you will see the assigned target to the right of the Rubric’s name.
When you click to view the rubric, you will also see the target rating at the top to the right of the rubric name. You will also see the target icon above the desired target rating within each criterion.
By using target ratings as a guide, you’ll have a clearer path to success and more confidence in the work you submit.
