Overview
The Batch Configure Activities feature is designed to simplify and streamline how program administrators manage activity resources, requirements, and rubrics across an entire program. With a user-friendly table view, you can now configure multiple activities at once—saving time and ensuring consistency.
Accessing Batch Configure Activities
Step 1: Navigate to your Program.
Step 2: Select the 3 dots next to your program name, then select Batch Configure.
This brings up a new interface that displays all activities within the selected program in a single, centralized table.
- Each row represents an activity.
- Each column corresponds to a configurable element (e.g., resources, requirements, rubrics).
This layout gives you a clear, editable overview of activity setup at a glance.
Batch Configuring
The configuration table supports both quick adjustments and large-scale updates:
- Edit Individual Fields: Click directly into a table cell to edit an activity’s properties.
- Bulk Actions: Select one or more rows, then use the Options menu to apply changes across all selected activities at once. This is ideal for updating requirements, attaching resources, or managing rubrics for multiple activities simultaneously.
What can be managed with Batch Configure?
Administrators can:
- Add or Remove Resources: Attach files or links, or remove existing resources for any activity.
-
Set Activity Requirements: Define submission and evaluation rules, such as:
- Learners must upload attachments/links, add comments, or specify a duration.
- Evaluators must provide an observation date or comments.
- Add Rubrics: Attach a rubric to one or more selected activities using a guided dialog.
- Remove Rubrics: Remove all rubrics from selected activities in just a few clicks.
- Replace Rubrics: Swap an existing rubric for a new one (available only for activities that already have a rubric assigned).
Filtering Batch Configurations
To help you focus on the activities that matter most, the configuration table supports filtering by program level or plan. This makes it easy to:
- Locate and update only the activities within a certain level or plan.
- Avoid unnecessary changes to unrelated activities.
