Overview
With the Archive Programs feature, you can now tidy up your program list without losing historical data. Archiving allows you to hide programs that are no longer active, helping you focus on what matters—while still retaining full access to past records.
What Happens When a Program Is Archived?
Archiving a program makes it read-only and restricts all activity within it. Specifically:
- Learners and evaluators cannot submit, unsubmit, approve, or return any activities.
- A clear red banner will appear at the top of the program to show it’s archived.
- Admins retain full access to view program content and history.
- Archived programs are easily reversible—you can unarchive at any time.
Archiving is perfect for wrapping up completed terms, separating test programs, or simply de-cluttering your workspace.
How to Archive a Program
Step 1: Navigate to the Programs page using the left-hand menu.
Step 2: Locate the program you want to archive.
Step 3: Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the program listing.
Step 4: Select Archive Program from the dropdown menu.
Step 5: Review the confirmation window, which shows any users currently assigned to the program.
Step 6: Confirm the action.
Once archived, the program will appear in a new section called Archived in your left-hand navigation.
How to Unarchive a Program
Step 1: Navigate to the Programs tab on the left hand side bar.
Step 2: Toggle to the Archived tab.
Step 3: Open the archived program.
Step 4: Click Unarchive in the red banner at the top of the page.
The program will be restored to an active state immediately, and editing, submissions, and evaluations will resume as normal.
Duplicating an Archived Program
Want to reuse the structure of an old program? Use the Copy Program option (from the three-dot menu on an archived program) to create a new, editable version.
Important: When duplicating a program, any assigned users will carry over to the new version. Double-check assignments before proceeding if you're repurposing the program for a new cohort.
