Overview
There may be instances where you need to duplicate your program. By duplicating your program instead of rebuilding it from scratch, you can save time, reduce the risk of errors, and ensure continuity for both administrators and participants. Once duplicated, the new version can be easily adjusted to reflect updated timelines, expectations, or minor improvements for the upcoming year.
Duplicating your Program
Step 1: Navigate to the Programs page.
Step 2: Click the three dots to the right of your program name. Then, select Copy Program.
Step 3: From here, you can click into your new program. Rename your program by clicking into the program name.
After duplicating your program, we recommend reviewing the list of learners in the Assigned Learners tab and removing any past learners who are no longer part of the program. This helps ensure that only the correct participants are included in the new program cycle and prevents outdated data from carrying over. Simply select the learners you wish to remove, and then under Options select Remove from Program.
You can then assign new learners to the duplicated program as needed by following the steps outlined in this article. Once learners are updated, review each activity to confirm it reflects the new program year. This may include making adjustments to activity language, updating or replacing attached rubrics, and revising requirements such as due dates, submission criteria, or completion expectations.
Taking a few moments to review these elements will help ensure your duplicated program is accurate, up to date, and ready to launch.
