Overview
For many apprenticeships, logging hours is just as important as demonstrating skills. Whether you're in a time-based program or tracking hours toward specific job tasks, Craft’s time tracking tool helps you see and take ownership of your progress. Instead of relying on spreadsheets or waiting for someone else to tell you where you stand, you can log hours easily and monitor your cumulative progress toward goals - giving you more visibility, autonomy, and control over your learning journey.
Tracking Time
Step 1: Navigate to your program page. Select Enter Time to enter your time.
Step 2: Enter the date or month you wish to report time for. Then, enter your hours.
Step 3 (Optional): Select your reviewer. In some programs, you may have more than one reviewer. Selecting a reviewer from the list allows you to send your time entry to a specific reviewer. If you do not select a reviewer, your time entry will be sent to all of your assigned reviewers.
Step 4: When you are finished recording your time, click Submit.
Editing Submissions
Step 1: Should you need to update a time entry, first click View Time Entries.
Step 2: Then, click the arrow to the right. Then click Edit.
Step 3: Enter your updated time and click Submit. You will see a record of your submissions in the history section.
Logging Time from the Homepage
Time can also be logged directly on the Craft Homepage.
Step 1: From the Homepage, locate the Time Tracking Module on the left hand side. Click Enter Time.
Step 2: Select your program from the dropdown, then click the date button and select the date you wish to log time for.
Step 3: Your Time Tracking categories will then appear. Enter the time you would like to log, select your reviewer, then finalize your submission by clicking Submit.
